The data is the product.
Everything else on this site is a way of asking a question of one asset: 160 million resolved records, drawn from 127+ free government sources, with the document behind every field.
One record per real building, after block-and-lot, parcel number and document id have been collapsed into a single id.
Anyone can download the records. Nobody else resolves them.
The same building is a block-and-lot in one system, a parcel number in another, a document id in a third. The same person is a dozen spellings across a dozen entities. Mimir collapses all of it to one canonical record per real thing — deterministically, so the same inputs always produce the same answer.
Then every field keeps a pointer back to the government document that produced it. That is the part you cannot get anywhere else, and it is why an answer here can be checked instead of trusted.

Every value on the left opens a record like this. Nothing is asserted without one.
Eight record families, one spine.
Deeds, transfers, consideration, grantor and grantee
Mortgages, assignments, satisfactions, recorded amounts and dates
Mechanic’s liens, judgment liens, lis pendens
Foreclosure filings, tax delinquency, vacate orders
Parcel characteristics, assessed value, exemptions
Company status, registered agent, process address
Violations, complaints, enforcement actions
Parcel boundaries, so adjacency is computed not guessed
Free, public, and hard to use — which is the whole opportunity.
None of this is bought. Every record comes from an office that publishes it because it has to. The reason nobody has assembled it is that each source arrives in its own format, on its own schedule, with its own idea of what a building is called.
- 01Harvested at the source
Directly from county recorders, assessors, courts and Secretaries of State — no aggregator sitting in the middle stripping provenance.
- 02Normalised, not flattened
Every original value is kept alongside its normalised form, so a citation points at what the office actually wrote.
- 03Resolved deterministically
Canonical ids are a pure function of the source records. Re-run it in a year and you get the same ids.
- 04Reconciled continuously
New filings land against the same spine, so today’s answer and last quarter’s citation refer to the same building.
