We sell evidence. Everyone else sells guesses.
Provenance is carried per field, not appended to the bottom of a report. Any value on the screen opens to the government record it came from — the source, the record id, and the date it was recorded.

A report-level citation tells you a vendor looked at some records. A field-level citation tells you which record produced this number. Only the second survives a credit committee, a securitization reviewer, or opposing counsel.

Every value on the left opens a record like this. Nothing is asserted without one.
The same inputs always produce the same answer
Two different things happen inside Mimir, and conflating them is how this industry gets to sound more certain than it is. Resolving one canonical id per building and per person is a pure function of the source records, with no machine learning in the identity spine. Working out who controls whom is an inference, so it carries confidence and evidence instead of hiding inside one number.
- Identity resolution is deterministic and reproducible
- Control inference is probabilistic — and says so, per edge
- Rebuildable from scratch, so any answer can be re-derived
Ask us for a citation we cannot produce.
Pick a field on any building in coverage and ask where it came from. If we cannot show you the document, that is the honest answer too.
